We cannot deny that when the unexpected pandemic entered, the whole world was shocked by the COVID 19. Many were affected, especially the big businesses, who lost their jobs and even ordinary citizens. The economy collapsed at the same time that here in the mall. Our government seems to have tightened here in the, and not only in our country but globally, many have lost loved ones to the injustice of leaving it. In other words, no one is affected by it in the beginning to small, professional, and dignitary people inside and outside society. Nevertheless, the artists and imaginative arts, this is not the end of the starting of the modern challenge, to depict colors not only through canvas and brushes of creative ideas but the philosophical thinking of art and consciousness. It will create literature to illustrate the progressive history of art.
Back to nature is an idea and suggestion that we agreed with the management of Village Square Greenhouse to make a concept about Plantito and Planitia. And because of this, The Kapisanan ng Pintor sa Pilipinas at iba pang mga Sining inc. Immediately call of an artist.
At first, other KPP staff were reluctant to this concept which is perhaps a hardship, now for an artist to devote time to it. In this matter, I also got their point, but at a time. When our country was in trouble with the economy, I was one of the surviving artists during the Aquino’s era because of the people's power revolution. Because of this, I experienced a lot of hardship. I studied well how to organize Art Exhibitions through the mall in the '90s. But as an artist, I understand the blood and talents of artists and painters that poverty is not a barrier to the imagination and concept of artists to sacrifice their ability but, I think that others will further struggle to put their blood paint through brushes.
So I was more courageous but to smile and continue this project. On the first day, I offered a group something that was still raw to them. In the middle they refused. I was even more courageous and believed, praying to God that it surely, continue. So one day, when inviting the expected 10- artists to participate and 10-artists became only 3- left. I said to continue the 10. We can, it will all be nice, but unexpectedly and in the end 34 artists participated if we expected more than that and now 34 x 3-16 = 90 even if it decreases here to 90 the number of paintings is okay as well. I just made sure the area was passable.
And I had an ocular inspection. I estimated the hangers and I had panels and lights because it seemed like an area was measured and some space was painted white. And finally, even though an Art Organizer has a lot of work to do, there is nothing wrong with such an Art Exhibition of novice and professional artists just believing in what they will do. - Maestro orobia
