A preview of the piece I did for the zine @i-m-p-a-v-i-d-u-s is releasing alongside the 3rd (and final) book in THE IMPAVIDUS CYCLE! The zine was a reward for Kickstarter backers and I was super excited for the chance to participate in it! 🤩

I drew Adremallach, who is introduced in book two: Birthright, and became a quick favourite of mine! He’s a shadran–a race who live in the dark world, and I just love their designs 😔✊

I was hoping Al might get like five minutes more of at least a somewhat happy reunion with the loved ones he left in Sylva before they all got back to their regularly scheduled suffering, but I guess that wasn't in the cards

Congrats to Almar on managing to successfully court a god somehow and congrats to Ismaire on her mom reveal. If only this had happened under happier circumstances so I could recommend having celebratory drinks. Unfortunately, they need to focus on getting out of the weird tree hellscape first(and the drinks would be a couple centuries too late for Almar anyway)
