bailey tugged on the suit she was currently wearing. she was tucked in a corner, trying to hide away. she was a new intern and was currently at the office’s work party. she had designed the suit herself so it flattered her curves, but it was a suit nonetheless and made her uncomfortable. she hadn’t told anyone in the office her correct pronouns, too scared she’d be turned down for the job. she was nursing a glass of wine when someone apprached her. her gaze was downwards, slowly moving up at the sight of expensive shoes. “oh,” she mumbled, the ceo (or who she thought was the ceo) standing in front of her. “hi.”

it was common for these work parties to be long and seemingly boring, but being the boss’ son and the sole inherent of the company, maverick was required to be there. swirling the martini in his hand, he downed it quickly, emarld eyes catching onto someone of complete intrest. maverick was quickly drawn to the person who was conversing with one of his father buyers, especially when he already knew her. having bumped into her at a trip to a museum, maverick had grown quiet an infacuation with her. that one date they had and then she hadn’t heard from her again, it kind of upset him. walking up behind her. his hand slipped up her back, hidden from the other. “ yes, thank you thomas for keeping bailey occupied, but i really much discuss business..an important matter, you understand.” he told the other, before quickly whisking her away from the crowd. “ you never called, kitten…trying to break my heart?” he asked hand firmly on her hip. @impcrfectsx

trevor glanced around the ballroom. he had been the best man at jackson’s wedding, but was currenly sitting alone at a table. he had had a couple glasses of champagne, just enough to take some of the tension of a wedding off. he suddenly caught the gaze of the girl he had been seeing. the wedding was large and trevor didn’t think he would see anyone he knew outside of the band. his lips curled into a smirk as he saw her and he jerked his head toward the bathrooms. he rose then, discarding his jacket over his seat before moving swiftly toward the bathroom.

may had agreed to go to this wedding, as a plus one to her friend. she figured, she wouldn’t know anyone. she now stood against the wall in a tight off the shoulder black dress. she had just brought the glass down, baby blue eyes falling on the gaze of the boy, she had been seeing for some time now. she hadn’t expected him here but was glad to see someone she knew here. she raised an eyebrow, before finishing off the champagne in her glass, leaving the empty glass on a table and heading to the bathrooms to meet him.
