"Why is it we seem to keep running into each other like this?" Wesker should have expected that someone would make a move on him eventually; he hadn't been exactly stealthy since his reappearance, try as he might. Yet, what shocked him the most was, out of all the people to track him down, it was the man who wore his face.
He presses ever so slightly down on the man's neck, leather boot squeaking under the change. The mastermind admired this view, the man beneath him, ragged breathing.
"You should have known better than to challenge my fortress by yourself, Zeno." The term fortress is used loosely; the building had been abandoned long ago and Wesker had thought it appropriate for the moment given that a few of the rooms remained in decent enough condition for him to use. It was not exactly what he wanted, but it would have to do.
"Now tell me, why are you here?"

"I will stay, Zeno, as long as you wish me to." After what feels like an age of awkward silence between the two, Albert reaches outward to gently pull the man into an embrace, careful to avoid the cup in hand. The things that damned corporation must've put him through; it awakens a swirl of conflicting emotions.
Albert has experimented on men like Zeno before; has destroyed countless lives without a care in the world... so why was it here, with this man in particular, did the idea of the torture he endured anger him so? Was it because Zeno was a replica of him? Did Albert, whether consciously or not, take the damage done to Zeno as a slight against himself, or was he starting to care for the clone like a father would their child? Albert pulls away before the hug becomes more awkward.
"You're welcome to stay with me as long as you want. I have a guest room, we can make that yours. Do you understand, Zeno? You have a home here."

It happened without warning; they greeted him at the door with bullets upon bullets upon bullets and had attempted to storm his home to drag Zeno out, kicking and screaming, but Connections had made a fatal mistake. They thought Albert Wesker was dead and the man that housed him was some copycat trying to relive the glory days of the extinct scientist; they couldn't have been more wrong. He might've been older now and his body in a worse shape than before, but he was still the Albert Wesker. He was a living weapon and the people Connections had sent got to learn that firsthand. There were no survivors, not with Zeno and Albert working together, and it left a terrible mess... but that was okay, because Zeno was okay.
Psychically.
When Wesker was certain that the danger had passed, he made his way back to Zeno who stood still, wide-eyed, and trembling. Poor fool probably didn't even notice and Albert wasted no time trying to ground him again. He approached and quickly wrapped his arms around the clone, bringing him closer and hugging him tightly, reminding him to breathe. Just breathe.
"They're gone, Zeno. They're gone." He pulls away just far enough that he can look the man in the eyes, cupping his face between gloved fingers. "Breathe, boy. You're okay. You're okay. I am here."
