@ofhope said: What kind of punishment was this? It's supposed to be a gameshow, not - torture! It's hard enough playing nice 'round the Saja Boys, Rumi's somehow got a practiced smile, Mira… hasn't broke anything so that's a plus, but Zoey's meant to be bubbly and cheery in the presence of demons?
Now, because of a segment, she has to--?? Kiss? BABY? For a DARE?
"Won't this, you know, stir up some--" Zoey whispers to the host, who shakes their head. "Oh, okay, so I can't get out of it."
OKAY, all things considered, he's not the worst option, but he's pretty close to it. Cocky, ill-spirited, his verses don't even make sense half the time--
But he is… pretty. Like, soo pretty. He really gives her a run for her money in that department, and while that should make her mad (it does!) it, somewhat, lessens the burden of having to kiss a demon on the cheek.
Step. Step step. Stepp… Zoey, with puckered lips with a scowl barely hidden behind them, sneaks a quick peck to Baby's cheek. Eugh, why's his skin so- so annoyingly soft and not scale-y?!
"Okaythereisthesegmentdoneyet?"
He isn't a veteran but at this point he's used to his presence being used for the sake of entertainment. Just showing his face was enough to warrant the most ridiculous request from fans and media alike and according to Jinu's plan he had no choice but to oblige. Many requests were outrageous for a grown man to indulge in so shamelessly as he had but surprisingly he held no feelings of contempt and complied without hesitation. Whether it was sucking on a pacifier or blowing kisses to strangers, nothing seemed to faze him or bruise the ego many should question he has.
Therefore another gameshow felt like just another day, even sharing the stage with Huntrix felt like it had become habit at this point. It was natural they be paired together given their shared positions as both rappers and maknaes, therefore hearing that Zoey's dare involved him earned no reaction from Baby. However, her hesitance tickled something inside of him that he couldn't publicly express. What was she, scared? That look on her face amused him, enough to mourn the fact he couldn't tease her for it due to keeping up appearances. A little harmless banter through song and rap was fine but outside of that he made it a point to keep quiet more often than not and let his baby face do the work for him. While he was inarguably cute he understood that his voice produced a sort of vocal dissonance that disrupted the image he was supposed to be going for, therefore less talking was wise.
Eyebrows raise when the contents of the dare were explained and suddenly all makes sense. A kiss? That was pretty bold, even for entertainment but he sat in wait while sparing Zoey just a few faux shy glances. Not that it helps but he leans to the side she approaches to make it easier for someone that short to reach. Without the cameras, he might have jeered at her enough to get under her skin far more than an itty bitty kiss would but he finds himself pleasantly surprised by how soft it feels when she finally lands.
Standing upright he can barely understand the sorry excuse of jumbled words she'd likely call a sentence but he plays coy to appeal to their audience. "You made that look easy," no she didn't. "I wish I were that brave." His voice is still quiet despite the bass that rests in it, using that facade to woo the audience despite his actual opinion of her efforts being pitiful.
