“No, it’s totally safe, and even if it isn’t, it’s fine, I’ll cast some cool sparkly charm on you and you’ll be fine. Trust me.“ Teddy devilishly smiled, offering a popsicle to little Lily Potter. Introducing children to the wonders of the two hundred seventy four flavors popsicle was always funny to watch. Usually, Teddy Lupin happened to draw the short straw and get a taste like horse feet or bumblebee fart. Either way, there was fun in the mystery of it. Upon trying the popsicle, little Lily beamed with happiness, saying she got a strawberry vanilla cake flavor. “Really?!“ Teddy exclaimed, his hair turning to envious green. “I guess first time’s the charm! Was that the saying?“
He smiled at Lily Luna Potter, ruffling her hair and sending her off on the way to the much celebrated man today. Harry Potter -- Lily’s father, Lupin’s uncle, godfather and, well, hero of the evening... or the month, more like. Everybody was here. This entire event reminded him of the crowded Hogsmeade trips days in third year and the Quidditch games that brought fans all over the world. Wixen Britain seemed gigantic judging by all the people feasting and celebrating at every corner of the little village.
“Do you want an everchanging popsicle?“ he raised his eyebrows at the figure next to him. Admittedly, the few Butterbears he had were playing a trick on him. Teddy was practically ready to talk to anyone and give them his entire friendship and positivity. “You can either get something very cool like fruit cake or cinamon hot chocolate or something disgusting... I’m fairly certain I know all the bad ones so far. I’d be super surprised if you got one I’ve never tasted.“
