Listen if you need any proof of Dream targeting Tommy just listen to Dream declaring war on Lmanberg when Wilbur started the revolution.

Dream adresses them by "Tommy! (Legitimately a one second pause) And Wilbur."

Tommy was Wilburs right hand man. Yet he was adressed first which is just.... So fucking weird-

C!wilbur really told c!tommy to be dedicated to lmanberg while high as a kite one day and c!tommy just decided to completely define himself by that.

Hot take: switching sides after receiving new information about what the plans of your current side contain isn't always betrayal especially if immediatelly tell that person what you're doing and are apologizing for it.

Technoblade told Tommy about his true plans of completely destroying Lmanberg not even a full day before the festival and the day of the festival he dropped the bomb of planning on killing Tubbo, who's on his last life.

Im a big supporter of the c!phil being c!tommys father but c!wilbur pretty much raising him theory (because it reaaaally nicely lines up with their already existing characterisation I COULD RANT ABOUT THAT SO MUCH YOU DONT EVEN KNOW)

I'm also a big supporter of c!wilbur just picking him up somewhere when c!Tommy was like just a toddler and just sibling adopting him.

However, canonically Tommy is his own father so-

Another rant.

Tommy seeing Technoblade as a friend and Tommy using him as a weapon isnt mutually exlusive and actually goes really well hand in hand.

See. A lot of people on the dream smp are pretty shit at pvp. I think tommy especially? Maybe? He possibly just always has shit armor i cant actually tell.

But in dream smp, when you have a conflict you get allies, even in a conflict between two people.

Isnt that even how the disk war started? Sapnap got him involved in one of his fights.

The most reocurring wars are probably the pet wars which are usually between sapnap and 1-2 other people privately. Yet the pet wars also had battles like the battle of the lake (it really shouldve been named after the tower. Bruhhh) which involved two sides with several people. But thats just how dream smp operates.

You have a personal conflict, you get your homies, they get theirs and you duke it out.

At the other side, sometimes your buddy just asks you to show up somewhere for a war and you just do.

Friendship, allyship and using people as weapons is just. Culture.

On an unrelated note, most of tommys and technos grievances from the pogtopian time are all wilburs fault and i love how both are just blaming the other.

Yes, tommy blames techno for the destruction of lmanberg when like 80% of the damage was from tnt set off by wilbur (and yes setting off two withers as some form of temper tantrum aint cool but tbf. Everyone was still really geared up and two withers wouldnt have hit that hard if... Yknow... The tnt ...)

Techno blames tommy for forming a government when that was Wilbur. I mean im not really sure what wilburs plan was besides emotionally torturing tommy by pretending to give him respect and aknowledge his accomplishments only to take the very country he loves from him

But yeah WILBUR formed the government by making tommy president, tommy handed responsibility back to wilbur and wilbur once again just picked another teenager to traumatize. Of course Tommy just went with what Will said. He was the leader and "coming back around"

And most importantly. The festival. Tommy hates techno for shooting tubbo and techno blames tommy for not helping him out despite this once again being on wilbur.

If wilbur hadnt told tommy techno wouldnt shoot tubbo. Would tommy not have helped out? Tommy looked at Wilbur for guidance and just plain simply orders. Wilbur decided that they wouldnt interfere.

Techno was stalling for wilbur and tommy to do SOMETHING but when nothing happened he had to go along with schlatt, if not for himself then just for the quite logical assumption that "if wilbur doesnt interfere, theres nothing worth interfering with"

Im about 70% sure that if wilbur hadnt assured tommy that rechno totally wouldnt do anything tommy would have pearled on stage before techno wouldve shot tubbo, they wouldve had to fight off everyone else and escape somehow. Idk, but if it wasnt for wilbur tommy definitely wouldnt just have sat by
