ASP's canon is set in the future, the year being 2112. Technology has taken a big jump towards better and is very advanced. The city ASP lives in is quite big and the exterior of building is always sleek black with neon lights adding colours here and there. The place is more lively at night.
There are hover cars and the like, and things run pretty smoothly. Robots exist too, though they are not as advanced as ASP and are used for working in factories and such, mass-producing anything and everything.
Currently Raids is the only person in ASP's universe who has successfully created an android that can live on its own, though he refuses to tell how he did it as he is not happy about his prototypes - they're not perfect to him, so he doesn't want the world to have them either.
Other things worth knowing are computers. Most of them are just black things set in a room and have a projector-kind of thingy showing multiple screens in a room, hovering in mid-air, transparent. They are extremely expensive, and common folk don't have them that much (ASP got her own from Raids as Brainwasher moved in; he took it from Raids) and ASP is able to connect herself wirelessly to the computer easily. Older models exist too, and those require cables to establish a connection between ASP and them.
Many things have changed in the past, Apple and Microsoft have both gone to hell due to their technology not being as great (this is just a little joke in the whole thing), and new brands that exists are something that came up just a while ago.
