ah ok i know its nice to imagine a world where the bad sad ending never happened and guts and casca lived peacefully with good king griffith but griffith is still literally so dangerous and manipulative and self centered that even without the demon necklace no matter what happened it just wouldn't be good,, it would just be everyone HAPPENING to accidentally not do the wrong things around griffith thats make him pull his sword on you and take up a "if i cant have you," attitude. i feel like hes just not the sweet prince we want him to be no matter what, even if its fun to imagine him without his villainous qualities thats just not his character.
