Gaussian Curve is a trio of producers (Young Marco, Johnny Nash and Gigi Masin) who recorded their debut album in about one weekend. "Impossible Island" is a beautifully contemplative track. The basic drums have a very warm sound and the guitar and synths burble along around it, creating a space where time doesn't matter. The track would be the perfect soundtrack for falling snowflakes: Slow, floating, white and pure.
