Letters to the friendly!Impostor
So, adding on to this post i made, here is some more thoughts i had for the friendly!Impostor SAGAU!! After the reader and the Impostor made an agreement, reader got somewhat of an entry-pass for the seven nations of Teyvat from them. Its mostly just a letter explaining their cover story, and so that reader can travel freely with some perks like free food and shelter during nights. Now what I thought would be kinda cute for this au, is the reader sending letters to the Impostor about their travels. At first because they wanted to show them that no, I’m not gonna betray you and yes, I am literally living my best life just traveling around, as well as the fact that they’re the only person reader can talk to without holding back their simping and world-knowledge. Later on the Impostor starts sending some letters back, and slowly a deeper friendship starts to bloom, with reader mostly writing to rant about cool stuff they found and the characters they met.(I also think they would come up with cute nicknames for the Impostor, since that isnt a real name and very long. something like Imp-chan maybe? or Ruler-sama when they want to tease xd) The only downside is that these letters would instantly expose their scheme, so Imp-chan (i really don’t want to write the full thing constantly anymore ^^”) made another law pertaining letter privacy, which forbids anyone from reader the letters their ‘blessed-one’ has send. This of course makes the acolytes kinda jealous and suspicious, because what did the readers parents do for their child to get favoured so much by the divine creator? Especially since they seem to just have popped up out of nowhere. And how come they always smile so brightly when they receive those letters, as well as the strange eagerness with which they write back The more love-sick and blindly devoted followers are appeased when Imp-chan tells them that it is none of their concern and the interest they have for this mortal could never rival the love they have for their acolytes. The problem starts with those who are more cunning and not as naive. They of course don’t think their divine god is lying to them, but what if reader was using them for their own gain? They can’t let you threaten their god, but they also can’t harm you, so instead they spy on you, which of course is the perfect recipe for disaster ;}
