" MORDIN SOLUS? " ... THE DIRECTIONS GIVEN THEM by the diplomat in the embassy didn't seem particularly helpful. there are a number of salarians in the wards with this mottled red-brownish and beige colouration, and shepard really didn't have any idea what the hell an ' old salarian ' was supposed to look like — a difficulty that was further exacerbated by bosker's inability to describe his assertion in actual visual detail. but this close up, shepard thinks he can see a subtle wearing of age that he hasn't quite seen before on other salarians. not the ones bustling frantically throughout these parts of the citadel, at the least.
and the missing horn and the darker, almost squid-shaped patch of markings on his forehead … yeah. this should be him. for all shepard grumbled on his way here over bosker's seemingly unhelpful descriptor of dr solus, the clerk's gotten all the little details right.
" commander shepard, " he offers in curt introduction, certain enough of his identification that he doesn't bother waiting for verbal confirmation. still, just in case, he keeps his approach just vague enough: " i'm with the alliance. i have some questions about the nature of your latest project. "
shepard supposes that going to serviceman bhatia's husband with what little information he's unearthed would suffice. but geth surfacing from beyond the perseus veil, with god only knows what weaponry and technology they've been developing these past centuries — shepard thinks that the alliance's research warrants some personal investigation. if not for the sake of bhatia's husband, then for his own. shepard's got to know what they're up against, after all.
