When your little brothers house turns into a whiskey tasting event! Thank you @mellowmarcello. . . Now for you whiskey fans, I'm not a pro, but here's my take and ranking on these 4 bottles. . . (1.)THE BALVENIE 12 YEAR OLD DOUBLEWOOD Single malt Scotch Whiskey . -Character: Black pepper, cinnamon, raspberry, milk chocolate, stewed fruit. (My favorite) You get the sweetness of the chocolate, and the fruit comes through at the end. . (2.)AUCHENTOSHAN 12 YEAR OLD Single malt Scotch Whiskey . -Character: Leaves, Ginger, lime, hazelnut, cream. This has a little more bite to it from the ginger, but still smooth with a nutty finish. . (3.) OBAN LITTLE BAY Single malt Scotch whiskey. . -Character: Black pepper, orange, peach, honey, brioche. This was a toss up between this and my number 2 pick. I love the pepper and sweetness from the honey and peach. You can't go wrong with either one . (4.) AUCHENTOSHAN AMERICAN OAK. Single malt Scotch whiskey. . -Character: Grass, cinnamon, grapefruit, coconut, cream, oak. Still a great whiskey, but you get that tartness, and deep flavor, from the grapefruit, grass, and oak background. . . All of these were great!
