On October 6th 1973, the Middle East was shaken by the biggest war it had ever seen. A war that should have been the last one, and that forever changed the region.
A thought provoking, moving, very well acted and shot show about the Yom Kippur War. If you liked ‘Band of Brothers’ and ‘Pacific’, then you will also enjoy this show.
It is a human story and you really get to know the characters and get invested in their journey. I found it to be a very moving show and I am now going to read up more about the war. It is available on Channel 4 in the UK. I highly recommend it.
