hey uh this might be a bit of a weird question but for my end-of-highschool thesis im researching "how can playing zelda help with learning english as a secnd language?" (trust me they required us to be this weirdly specific), and bc im pretty sure you played more of the games than me, which one is the most text heavy, or is there a game you'd recommend studying for another reason? again super weird question but your help would be greatly appreciated. (i'll even mention ur blog if you want lmao)

of the games ive played/have any experience with, id say twilight princess and skyward sword have the most text. can’t say which one has more, ive never actually played all of skyward sword (just the beginning) i’ve just giffed the story (i did watch all the cutscenes to get a feel for it before i started giffing it). wind waker has a fantastic scene before the final fight with ganondorf that has some very poetic dialogue that i’d recommend at least taking a look at. ocarina of time and majora’s mask are probably the best for  those learning english as a second language though, because everything is worded in really simple terms (probably a result of translation not really being a huge deal back in the early days of gaming, and also limited memory to work with). english is my first and only language though, so i cant say for sure which ones are the best for those learning english as their second language. i’ve only heard stories from other bilingual speakers of how they learned english from playing video games. unfortunately i can’t recommend you to anyone who speaks multiple languages cuz i dont think i know anyone very well that does so and also plays video games?

i don’t have skyward sword in that playlist, but there are multiple cutscene compilations for that you can refer to just by searching something like “skyward sword all cutscenes” on youtube.

also you don’t have to mention my blog in your paper lmfao i’m just some nerd on the internet. not the best source for essays. i wish you luck on your research though!
