OKAY SO I don’t usually make posts myself. Well… Ever actually… But! What a way to make my first! After a long time thinking, specifically ever since I started to go through puberty, I’ve been trying to figure out if I really was male, or if maybe I was a trans girl.

That journey is over, and I reached my destination.

Fortunately/Unfortunately, it means I have to begin a new journey, one that I know will be fraught with dangers and difficulties, but one I am so happy and proud to be making. I am going to be working and saving towards facial feminisation and reconstruction surgery, as well as sexual reassignment surgery because you heard it right folks: I’m not male. I’m a trans female.

I don’t care what anyone says about those labels to me, whether it’s “You shouldn’t call yourself trans, you’re just a woman!” or “You’re not truly trans if it took you this long!” because guess what? I AM trans. And I’m embracing that with every fibre of my being, I am acting on that reality. I am trans, and I am finally happy.
