So over seven years ago I held a ceremony at Singleton Park to plant a cherry blossom tree 🌳🌸. Planting a tree was something I got to cross of my Bucket List... but I never expected to be here to see that tree grow. The ceremony we held was, in reality, a Pre-Funeral, as John Green calls them... after all, I said to my mum, why should you guys have all the fun without me 😂?! The ceremony itself was incredible, and incredibly beautiful. I treasure the memory of it ❤️ But the really incredible things is, seven years later, I’m still here. And in those seven years, both the tree and I have done an awful lot of growing. And I know that 16 year old Amy, the one who planted this tree whilst believing she’d never see it grow, would be so impressed by 23 year old Amy and her life. Feeling very blessed 💖 #iplantedatree #sevenyearslater #thetreeandihavebothdonealotofgrowing #imstillhere #imstillfighting #imstillive #16yearoldmewouldbeproud #andimpressed #blessed (at Singleton Park)
