I probably won’t know how to respond either and still be at least vaguely polite. He must not realise he doesn’t really have a leg to stand on with that argument….

No, I wasn't very polite to him. He just seemed to come from a really like horrible position, he was so invested in classes and used the phrase 'the underclass' quite a few times and said that working class people never worked hard enough to move up the classes. It was just all really weird and kinda unexpected.

I…yeah, that’s strange. And a bit too accepting of how the world is.

So like messed up, I really didn't know how to deal with it. He's like well-off and pretty comfortable in his life and I feel like that comes in to it... He's not had to struggle that much and other people's struggles serve the world...
