imustknowwhy replied to your post:I kind of thought that the pageant was a catalyst for Farrah letting go of the little girl she envisioned Amy to be. Like Farrah talked about the life she thought Amy was going have and this kind of showed her that yeah, amy could have done the pageant stuff and even been good at it but it's not her. That isn't who her daughter is. I saw it as kind of a push for Farrah that you can't live in your ideals and the taste of what could have been let her move on to get to know her daughter now.
I’m late on this convo, and don’t if you’ve covered this, but what about children’s judging parents?Amy was judging Farrah for doing the pageants, so Farrah pointed out that they paid for her education. We expect understanding from rarely return it.
You certainly make a good point. Sometimes children don't appreciate where their parents have come from and how they've made it in this world and all they've done to provide for their children.
Ultimately though, what this storyline comes down to is a mother and daughter wanting to connect with one another but not knowing how. And then once they were able to, it almost didn't matter how they came to that place. They just knew they wanted to stay there.

why? emotional or physical cause?

? you ok?
I'm sorry for the terribly late replies. It was an emotional cause, and I'm alright now. Just when it happened it hit me like a freight train and just aldskfja;laf
What did you think about the scene where Karma is crying on her mother's lap? The mom says "It's up to fate, if you and Amy are meant to be...." or something like that. I wonder what conversation they had.
I think Karma was trying to keep it hidden that her relationship was ‘fake’, towards her mother. So her mom is thinking they broke up, but really all the other stuff with feelings and everything happened, and Karma is just like ‘nooooooooooooo’ in her head. I feel sort of bad for Karma, because everything must be so so so confusing for her, but then again I’m not sorry for her because of how she handled everything I guess?
