One day I’ll stop telling myself everyone has developed a rational reason to hate me since the last time I saw them. Hey, maybe even today!

I found out that speaking kindly to yourself ACTUALLY CHANGES EVERYTHING, and I’m learning to take care of my hair. Even if it still never gets any screen time. One day it’ll be out for longer than just five seconds in the shower before I braid it back again.

I fought with my hair once, mad at God it was so hard to handle - it’s still difficult but it got a lot easier once I realised I don’t have to be able to brush it when it’s dry and unstraightened to prove it’s not ‘tangled’ like other hair types.

Short lashes natural phase soon come. Amen.
