Pinky Promise

Andrei's Condo - San Sequoia

It’s Sunday, and I’m flying back to Willow Creek today. My flight is at 11, so I was up around 7 cooking breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, with a fruit salad on the side. After everything that happened on Harvestfest, I wanted to do something simple and sweet to leave him with a smile.

I was at the stove when I felt him come up behind me, kiss my neck, and mumble “good morning.”

I fixed both our plates before sitting down with him. We ate, and I kept a smile on my face. He reached over, caressed my chin, and kissed me again, like he was checking on me without saying anything.

Last night, we had a long talk. Emotional, heavy, but needed. He asked me to promise him I’d get professional help for my grief, and I did.

I just… feel like I’m always dealing with something. My emotions have been everywhere, and sometimes it feels like I’m dragging him through it with me. He’s never said that. He’s always supportive. He's always trying to help, but it's just how I feel.

So, this morning, I wanted to be okay. I wanted him to see me okay. I wanted him to know that he doesn't have to worry.

Disappointed

Andrei's Condo

When I woke up, Andrei was already gone for practice. I stayed in bed for a while, not really doing anything, just trying not to think about last night.

The whole day felt slow. I did a little cleaning, but mostly just moped until he finally came home. As soon as he walked in, I apologized.

He looked disappointed, not mad… just tired. I asked if he was going to tell my dad. He didn’t answer right away. Then he said no. He promised to take care of me, and he felt like he failed because he didn’t get rid of the alcohol in the house.

I didn’t know what to say. I just nodded and then he held me.

Updates

It's been a long time since I've been on Tumblr. Not going to lie though... I stumbled across a new game to play and it's basically the sims on steroids.

Long story short, since March or April, I've been playing FiveM GTAV RP. Once I got in, I was hooked. I haven't opened The Sims 3 in months. Not only was it annoying to try and stream and play together with my current setup, but it just didn't feel the same after giving up on The Sims 4 last year. The game runs unstable and with the slowness it felt more like a job that I was working rather than playing a game for fun. I hated that feeling so I found something fun.

Not to worry though. If you're into simulations, roleplay, or gaming in general then I have some upcoming posts that you might enjoy. I'm not really sure when I will get back to The Sims, but I hope I can find joy in the game again.

**I'd also need to game schedule since I play in multiple servers/cities on FiveM. I need a better way to divide and manage my time.**
