1. What did 8 year old you want to be when they grew up?
I wanted to be an astronaut/novelist. I was really into the planets and stars, so I wound up writing a lot of stories about my space adventures.
2. What does now year old you want to be when they grow up?
Though I'm currently a university bureaucrat, I still want to be a novelist. I don't have much time to write at the moment [other than papers for school], but I plan on becoming super famous in 15-20 years, once my kids are done with college and I don't have to worry about them as much. You heard it here first.
3. Nuclear holocaust and you can only bring one more non-essential into the bunker, what is it?

4. Travel to space or the bottom of the oceans?
SPACE.
5. If you had to rename your favorite band, what would their new name be?
One of my favorite bands at the moment is the Black Keys. I'd probably rename them something like The ACD Experience [ACD for Auerbach, Carney, and Danger Mouse, who should be a full-time band member in my opinion].
6. Describe your ideal outfit for dressing to feel well dressed.
It would probably be a dress, v-neck, tight in the bodice, looser skirt to the knee, with flats and possibly a cardigan.
7. What video game would you play with someone if you wanted to get to know them better?
Mario Kart. I don't play many other video games, but I feel that you could learn a lot about a person by driving around Nintendoland.
8. If you could have a car of any color, what color would you choose?
I like silver cars.
9. You encounter yourself from an extremely similar parallel universe, what do you do?
I'd send my parallel self uplifting and kind notes/gifts in the mail, secret admirer-style.
10. Best thing you have eaten within a week?
I got a non-stick pan this past Christmas and I just recently had the epiphany that I could make frittatas with it. A couple of days ago I made a frittata with Italian sausage, bell peppers, and Parmesan cheese and holy crap was it ever good with some roasted asparagus.
11. What movie would you like to be the protagonist from?
I'd rather like to be Bilbo Baggins: swept away on a scary adventure with unpredictable companions to far-away lands, learning that I'm worth much more than I believed I was.
