Birds chirped as the newly risen sun shone across the small island of Patch, where long time couple Sun Wukong and Yang Xiao Long had been living since the incidents of The Fall. As much as the blonde monkey faunus has occasionally felt guilty for leaving his friends in Mistral and Vacuo behind, he knew that his blonde girlfriend needed someone by her side as she struggled to overcome her physical and mental wounds.
As his eyes slowly opened, the faunus was greeted by the back of his girlfriend nuzzled up against his torso, his arm wrapped gently around that of her wrist.
“Mornin’ babe...” the still half asleep blonde whispered into the woman’s ear, his lips pressing gently against the side of her neck between the blonde locks of her hair.

“Yang.. Do not tell your father about this but...” James looked to the doorway suspiciously before he presented the small black and white kitten to his step daughter. The cat glanced to Yang and gave a soft meow as he pet it gently. “They will be a part of our family now.”

Tai put a hand on Yang’s shoulder and laughed. “Come on! Halloween full moons aren’t that bad! That’s when we get to go around and spook people! “Oh nice costume”, ha! Then we show them we don’t wear costumes! Their faces are priceless! I doubt that Ruby is gonna be able to ride on your back. She’s still got to work on her shifting. It’d look like a smaller red wolf on the back of a blonde wolf.”
There was always that weird grumble he got when it came to his family on full moons. That overprotectiveness of a wolf got the best of him some times. Still, it was pretty funny to see his girls try and conquer their shifting problems. It was either them resisting change, or the minute the moon rises that they’re running wild. “Promise me that our hunt tonight will go better than last month. You nearly got caught by a hunter. If someone besides the people we trust find out there are werewolves in the woods, we’ll be hunted down. I wanna see you grow and make your own pack, not become a pelt on some hunter’s wall.”

Tai picked up the little baby from her stroller. So his little girl was the source of all of that howling? It wasn’t hard to believe! He held her close and patted her on the back. “That’s my pup...”

It’s been months since Blake and Yang had been reunited, and she couldn’t have been happier. Rolling over in bed, she wrapped her arms around Yang, purring softly. “Don’t you dare leave this bed.”
Why Yang? Why? Honestly, how could the members of team RWBY be so embarrassing?
