“Oh, yeah, of course!” Youngjun didn’t have to be told twice; after all, he was getting to do two of his favorite things– helping people, and dancing. It was a short section of a routine that he had offered his help with, but complicated nonetheless. Youngjun ran through the steps once again, a little slower this time, casting a smile to her as he finished.
“How about that?” He knew Sophie was a very talented dancer, but even the best of the best needed help, sometimes– hell, he himself needed dancing help more often than he liked to admit.
Sophie was sitting on the floor of the practice room as she paid attention to every small movement of his while he demonstrated her the dance routine she wasn’t able to get a grasp of. There was something about dancing that brought out the perfectionist in her. No step would go unnoticed and every move had to be done the right way, much to her own disliking. Because it often resulted in the female spending almost the whole day practicing. The young woman nod her head before getting up again, her mind processing what she had just seen. “ So I go like this- ”
At first she started off slowly and carefully, trying to keep the steps themselves in her focus. If she couldn’t get them right in the first place there was no use to learn the choreography, she thought. The recalling of the steps worked, mostly thanks due to the help of her earlier job as an instructor. Now combing speed with the steps was the problem, her mind going blank as she wanted to start. A few seconds passed after she got ready, eyebrows furrowing at her own hesitation. “ Can you… Can you do it with me? ”
