So im a liar~ This is now the 5th total revision of the story i thought i was ready to start posting. (I really need to stop scraping my projects and starting over but weh~).

In other news i think i finally settled on a title for it.

In Situ

Probably gonna be like another few months of reworking the first few chapters before i post something but im making progress again. My goal is to have 2k written by the end of the month (we'll see) and hopefully post up the first chapter for beta readers.

The Things I’m working on:

Disclaimer: the things im working on in some cases are very emotionally taxing, some take longer to write than others because of this. Also, im actively trying to not fuck up my life while devoting a strong portion of my time to this stuff, so i only update once every month or so because that’s all I can manage under my current schedule. 

Please be understanding of this fact and please do not send me anon messages or write comments under any my fic’s along the lines of “I’ve been waiting for the next part?” “when are you going to post the next part?” because in the end- it actually makes me less likely to write and get anything done for that day. 

the quickest way to make me write more is to like, comment, and reblog my work, as well as sending me anon messages telling me what you liked about it.

Status: 31k out of 40k written, as a whole nearly finished, serious editing and development needed.  Release Date: first part will be posted when story is complete,

Status: 3/5 complete- needs some additional scenes, not a first priority Release Date: after first chapter of reasons wretched is released

Status: 2/5 complete- while a lot of this is written and it’s already gotten pretty long- there is still a fair amount at the end that i need to write  Release date: probably after a few other things have been released

Status: 1/5 complete, writing/drafting process is only beginning Release date: hopefully before october

most of my memories r sad

a ritual to remember

a ritual to forget

my brain revealed this to me the other day and it keeps repeating in my head

im rly good at reducing things in order to function ( see equations earlier) and recently ive been asking myself is that all life is?

a series of rituals to remember and a series of rituals to forget

i know thats not all it is but in terms of the experience of existence this phrase as a concept is  too significant to ignore

im a v present person / i dont think abt the past often/i willingly stop myself from doing it/ i forget things that happen a wk ago/ fear of pain stops me from remembering all things  including good things

past = pain // future = anxiety abt things i cant control (which is why i dont  make plans)

i let life happen to me which is bad/good ???

documenting myself/my brain on the internet helps me not forget/helps me understand myself/my mental health etc...

i think humans practice forgetting in order to exist/survive

remembering is the hard part

im not ready to articulate this properly

im not done thinking abt it yet
