Five’s return had been a surprise, but unlike the rest of his siblings he didn’t get to have his sibling back. He just had another member of his family to watch over without ever getting to actually interact with them. It was still just him and Klaus, the way it had been for years. Sure he could influence Klaus into doing things for their siblings but that was it. 

Yet the time travel had messed with his body. A seemingly impossible feat given he didn’t technically have a body, though it seemed that the journey through time had taken it on itself to fix that issue. Immediately he tackled his long missing brother, eyes starting to tear up already. “You utter asshole,” the words, hostile as they may seem, were filled with love.

"Don't talk about my girl like that, first of all." Five warped to perch on the edge of the kitchen table nonchalantly (so he didn't have to look up to meet his much taller brother's eyes, but that was irrelevant) and lightly gave the side of Klaus' leg a kick. "And I don't talk to inanimate objects, do I look like a fucking idiot? You're the one who won't stop arguing with the air."

“I apologize--.” Klaus lifted his hands in retreat, eyes trailing to where the blue whisps around Five disappears only for him to reappear. “Ouch!” He grasps onto his leg at the light kick. “I’ll need a wooden leg now. I won’t be able to bend it right.” He states over dramatically falling onto Five now that he was close enough. “Fair enough.” He adds on, “Ben agrees with me. The lamp isn’t family, Five, perhaps you could talk to me instead.”

Inhaling a deep breath and sending up a small request for courage, Carmen knocked on the mansion door. There was no real reason for her to glance behind and around herself, but she did and noted how busy everything was around here. She was used to a quieter life. However, recent events had altered that. If she were right, and she usually was with these things, the world was going to end. It starts here at this mansion-this academy. A tad bit of research and she got a semi clear picture of what was going on. There was also a book written by one of the girls who lived here, but Carmen hadn’t the time. Plus, she got what she needed. These were powered people just like herself. Maybe, she thought, they won’t think I’m crazy and will know how to prevent this whole thing. Nerves had her checking the messenger bag strung on her shoulder. The items were there. Excellent.  Taking another breath through her nose, she carefully let it out of her mouth as she waited.
