(If You Can) Put Your Money Where Your Likes Are
I... got upset at some of the comments I saw on Sebastian’s post but then realized I couldn’t really feel that way when I’ve done nothing to support the causes I believe in. So I decided to change that. I donated to three organizations today, one of which was the one Sebastian mentioned in his post (I just posted the pics of the reciepts to prove that I actually donated, not to gloat or anything like that).
I don’t really have much and I’m mostly a struggling student but I had $30 to spare; I just thought to share this because Sebastian’s post will get THOUSANDS of likes but how many of those people will actually donate to the cause? Whether we like it or not, our money and buying power is often our voice. Where we choose to spend and give ultimately dictates what goes on in the world, so if you’ve got a spare dollar, donate to something you care about.
Here are the links to the websites where I donated:

These are just a few places doing good things that I agree with and want to support. If you support and agree with what these places are doing, feel free to check them out.
On a separate note, I read up a little on INAD and it’s pretty tragic; people should definitely donate if they can. These parents that are rallying for this fundraiser... the sad reality is that the cure is probably not going to come soon enough for their child, so they’re really doing this so that no other parents have to go through what they're going through. Be kind, people! And give when you can.
