her twin brother might hate her for it, he certainly made his dislike known every second of every day, but when did she ever listen or care what isaac thought about the decisions she made. while isaac played for the harvard hockey team, and garrett played for briar, and while it might have started off as a middle finger to her twin . . . well, she liked garrett more than she thought she would. she even went to one of the games, with only minor complaints about how cold it'd might be at the rink. sitting on the briar side, even found a shirt in her wardrobe with the main color of their team. and actually got invested in the game. cheering with the others when they won.

sitting on one of the tables outside the wardrobe after the game, slowly scrolling through her phone while waiting for the players to start filtering out of the showers. honey gaze lift after a moment when hearing the doors being pushed open, a grin forming when eyes land on him, pushing herself up and off the table and walking towards him. " congrats on the win, "

Don't you just wish you could blame others for well everything???? Maybe I have said too much...😬 Unfortunately, the world doesn't work this way even though soooo many people try this approach. People are responsible for their own experiences; no one can make them feel a certain way. The fact is we experience what we are doing. If a person says, “I feel sad,” they are actually doing sadness. In other words, they are using their body (their breathing, their facial muscles, their voice, their language, and their belief structures) in a way that causes them to feel sad in that moment. Consequently, this feeling can be changed in a moment if a person has a compelling reason to do so (i.e., leverage) and enough alternatives (i.e., new models of the world). #liferealness #inamoment #coach #leadbyexample
