I didn't give up...
"Anders has learned that Pelle came home earlier from school one day. He said that he'd thrown up and needed to get some rest.
"By sheer coincidence, our stepmother was home. Thinking he looked pale, she went to check on him and found him unconscious and without a pulse. She's a nurse and immediately realized things were serious. She gave him CPR until the ambulance arrived."
First, Pelle said that he slipped on ice outside school and elbowed himself in the stomach. However, it was soon discovered he'd been assaulted by a gang from school. He'd been beaten so badly, his spleen was ruptured. He was hospitalized for several days. Back in school, counselors tried to find the best solution for Pelle. The decision was made to transfer him to another school." - "Blood, Fire, Death" book, part 1/3🦇

Say yes
In the school's backyard, Damian Wayne was walking alone, with a lot of thoughts in his head. He was alone as usual, but something was different today. He had been wondering about you for two days. Usually, Damian, who was in control of everything, was trying to escape these feelings. But when he thought of you, he didn't know what to do.
Suddenly, he heard your footsteps and looked up. You were walking towards him with cakes in your hands. There was shyness in your eyes, but you were also looking at him with determination. You wanted to tell him the feelings inside you somehow.
"This… is for you," you said, holding the cupcakes towards him. Damian took the cupcakes with a question mark in his eyes but said nothing. There was a stirring inside him, but he couldn't find the courage to express it. Suddenly, as I watched you, something became more evident in the depths of your eyes. When you quickly walked away, a corner of your heart was uneasy, waiting for his answer.
Damian left school, putting the cakes in his pocket. Alfred's advice rang in his mind once again: "Never throw food away, Damian." So he took the cakes home, but this time there was something inside. While he took a few bites, he normally didn't pay much attention to the flavors. But the taste of that cake was somehow telling him something else. But it was so simple that he couldn't understand why it was so confusing.
When he went into the room, he noticed something in the cake. A small piece of paper came out of the cake. He slowly opened it and read the written message: "I feel something for you."
For a moment, everything froze in his mind. He held the paper in his hand in surprise and tried to understand what was happening. The confusion inside him increased. Putting this message in the cake was a way of showing him his feelings clearly, but Damian was having a hard time accepting someone being so open with him. "It's hard to accept this..."
In confusion and confusion, he didn't know what to do immediately. The voice inside him kept telling him to run away. So he left the room immediately, but he couldn't find anywhere to escape. At school he saw you again, but he looked away. It was so hard to talk to you and reciprocate your feelings. Slowly, as he passed you, he picked up speed, never getting any closer to you. The uncertainty within him and the feelings he didn't want to face with you were preventing him.
Somehow, there was a fear in his heart. Facing you, feeling something for you, seemed so weak to him. "I can't accept this," he thought. Losing control of everything, letting someone be so close to him, made him feel powerless.
But that message written on the cake was a turning point in his mind. With every step, your feelings were getting closer to him, coming towards him. But he didn't want anything to change. He just wanted to escape.
The next day, he saw you again at school. This time, he didn't dare to look into her eyes. While hundreds of things were going through his mind, seeing you and being aware of your feelings scared him even more. There was a void inside him, but he didn't know what to do. "This is hard to accept," he thought again.
