“You’re right about that. Plus, there’s a platypus. I’ve never seen one of those before.” Even if the animal was a little on the terrifying side, it was still pretty neat. He was glad the summer was turning out more interesting than he thought it would be. He’d been under the impression that he’d be spending it at a typical camp with typical camp things. This place was anything but typical. It really helped with his homesickness. “It’s nothing like I was expecting. Except for the food. I kinda had a feeling that would be terrible.”
