The good news: low-dose topical testosterone has cured my hormonal imbalance essentially overnight, I have never felt this functional during any part of my ovulatory/luteal phase ever. It's not unlike the first time I took adhd meds. It's a revelation.
The bad news: the hormonal imbalance was the only thing keeping the Inattentive part of my ADHD in check.
Apparently.
I took my meds before going to the store, which I was at for a maximum of 45 minutes, and I still managed to back almost directly into a gigantic white humvee. Which I did not see because I forgot to look both ways before backing out of my parking spot. (I looked the direction I was going in, but I forgot to check the oncoming direction also.) It is an actual real-life christian miracle from actual real-life blue-eyed caucasian jesus christ himself that I missed this rightfully-annoyed man's car by a literal 1/4". I am talking millimeters here, people.
So yeah anyway, there's always something unexpected you learn about yourself when you adjust your meds and your brain chemistry. I did not expect that thing to be "my various imbalances and disorders were keeping each other in check like a human tensegrity sculpture, and I have just changed the tension."
