You’re mostly right - 

Offline, people recognize that Aces/Aros should absolutely be considered part of LGBT+ communities and allowed access to safe spaces.  

Online, you get a bunch of 14-18 year old keyboard warriors who are trying to rewrite history and kick Ace/Aro people out of spaces that they’ve been in since the very beginning (The terms Ace & Aro are relatively new, as previously, a lot of us identified under the Bisexual/Biromantic labels).

This is not a new fight as most of the people arguing against Ace/Aro inclusion are the same people who have tried to start Bi Discourse a few years ago.
