Today's Branch Meeting Fun --

Safety Officer: We're overhauling the safety guidelines. They didn't used to be this in-depth for this department, but we've had a lot of random and supposedly "avoidable" incidents the past few years... *pointed look at me*... and the higher ups want us to rewrite a few key sections.

There's a flurry of activity with all the Safety Type People since we have an inspection coming up. You'd think because of that they'd be more careful. And not almost open doors in other people's faces. But nooo... :P I did cut her off mid-apology though and tell her that at least this time she'd get to fill out the accident report for my bloody nose instead of me ;)

(She was not as amused by my joke as I was. But at least I think I'm funny, and that's what matters lol.)

in the ongoing saga of the most-famous-incident-reports:

the two teens caught smoking weed in our elevator (which is conveniently located about two yards from the front desk ) and, as they discovered, weed smells, viciously, and we librarians are good friends with the police department.
