Wanna talk about Niall's shout out to the Irish police on his Instagram today? Thoughts?
I don’t think it’s particularly meaningful. I definitely notice any words that even look like Māori words now I’m here in the UK - and would find anything like that noticeable.
It probably puts a limit on his beliefs around the police, because if he was deeply committed to an anti-police position he probably wouldn’t tweet it without some form of commentary. But there was no reason to think he spent time scrawling #ACAB on every tour bus anyway. I don’t think it can be taken as a positive sign of his belief system.
