I hate the first day of the school year. Everyone screams and hugs and practically cries because they missed their classmates. Even though if they really wanted to, they could've hung out with them over the summer. I don't get it.

Today fucking sucked. My teachers are idiots, the kids at my school are even bigger idiots, my sister is blasting some shit that is going to damage my ears, and my mom's been screaming at me since she got home twenty minutes ago about how I never do anything. Fantastic.

I just realized that someone's probably reading this... so, um, hi, I guess.

It's Thanksgiving, so I thought I'd say that I'm thankful for you.

My best friend of little over a year just told me she became friends with me because she likes my brother. I didn't know cliches like this actually happened. Did you?

It's Christmas. I wish I could get you a present, reader, but I don't know who you are.

A new year. Nothing's changed, except the last digit I put when I date my school papers. I don't get the big deal.

Today someone told me a joke, and I swear it's been months since I've laughed that hard. As soon as I heard it, I wanted to tell you. But I'd have to tell you in person, to see your reaction. I don't know how to do that.

It's Valentine's day... I bought a flower for you. I wish I could give it to you.

The flower's wilted. But I'm keeping it anyway.

I think... I might be in love with you.

Scratch that. I know I am.

The thing is, you might not even be real, because what if no one ever reads this book?

I don't understand what's going on anymore....

i just watched the episode after jenny died and i just... can you imagine if something ever happened to ziva or abby? not only are they the closest thing he has to daughters but what with shannon, kelly, kate, and jenny being dead, they're pretty much the only women he has left in his life...
