Don't you just love it when you have to teach a subject to yourself because a professor did very little teaching during your time in their class

Tales of an Incompetent Professor
Politeness project due November 5, 11 am
Group member emailed it November 4, CCing the rest of us to show she sent it.
November 5 in class: Professor says she has nothing from us but hasn't checked her inbox. I and another member approach her after class to show her our copies of the email clearly showing her address in the "To:" line, time-stamped the day before it's due.
November 7: I approach her after class asking if she found our email or if we need to resend it. She said she'll let us know.
December 1: "I have nothing from the Politeness group."
Test Grade
November 3: I answer True for a True/False question.
November 10: We get tests back. She marked it wrong and puts a red mark on False as the correct answer.
I notice the people around me have it marked differently, so I ask in front of the entire class.
She says to write "Check #6" on top of the answer sheet and turn it back in.
December 1: Next to my 'Check #6' note at the top of the page: "? Should be true"
I approach her after class. She says, "Oh, I forgot why you wrote that. I'll fix it!"
Professor: if you did the reading (from a new book) you'll have read something different from this slide I'm using (which came from a different book)
Me *thinking*: so you're teaching is from an old book while telling us to read a different book?
