I'm trying to act like a normal person and think about things before I do or say them. So many things would come easier if I could manage to master that. I feel ridiculous that we have to communicate these things through obscure text posts. But it works. Nobody is interrupting or getting upset. I think we're probably listening and taking in information better. I'm trying to give you a bit of space because I know you need it more than I. I don't know how much is adequate, but I'm working on it. Was I ever exciting? Did I used to surprise you? I always thought myself a dull person. You were always the fascinating one. You still surprise me and teach me new things every day. Maybe it's just that I don't ever engage in new things. I don't have adventures. I don't do things independently, and that's a fault I need to fix. I wish things were so simple that we could just express what we needed from the other.
