Your name: Rose Your age: 20 Activity: Active Character name: Riley Matthews Charater age: 21 Desired role/occupation: Waitress Small summary of character: Riley’s parents would definitely be disappointed-probably have heart attacks too-if they knew where she worked, but she has to make money somehow to pay for college, and here was the nearest place hiring so…Her co-workers are nice enough, but the people can be a little touchy for her liking.
Accepted!

“Hey, are you new here? Sorry if you’re not, but I’ve never seen you around before, and, uh... honestly? You just look kinda LOST.”

“I never said that, Charlotte. Did someone else?”
“Yeah? They told me that I shouldn’t talk to you and Maya.”

Maya can’t help, but feel the guilt at the sight of his tears. She pushed up from her seat on his bed, before she slid to the floor in between his legs. Maya gripped his hands tightly in her hands, squeezing. “Riley, you’ve been nothing, but perfect. You’re too good for me.”
“But I’m the one who’s not good enough for you. I’m not good for you. I’ve never been good for you.” She repeated the words she had heard around the hall today. But the scary thing is, they’re right. “I’m that thing that holds you back. Do you know how much better you could be without me?” She shook her head, not listening for his answer. “Because you could be. I know you could. So this is me not holding you back anymore.” She rose a little. Her palms resting against his knees. She pressed her her lips to his intending for it to be a quick goodbye peck. A tear ran down her cheek.
