I’ve been trying a new medication this week. It’s not important what for. Yes, it was prescribed, and no, it didn’t come from that yogi in the gazebo.

I went and saw me a real life PHD doctor dude. He warned me that there would be side effects for the first week of this treatment. He wasn’t lying.
I don’t want to go into graphic detail about physical pain, or wax poetic about depression and anxiety. Before I write anything else, I should say right now that today (fucking finally) I feel SoOoOo much better… But shit dude…
The worst part of it wasn’t so much the superdarkboohoo-killmesadtime places my brain was taking me, but knowing that I had gone through all this personal development and made so much progress these past few years, only to find my self back in that hole again. It was so chemical… and I actually felt ashamed to ask for help from anyone.
I’m just writing this as a thank you to the few friends who I spoke to this week. You all helped a LOT more than you realize, even if you just listened. One of you even told me to stick with the treatment, that it would all be worth it. You had no way of knowing that.
