Need new music? Watch the Hudson Hank acoustic set, live at the loft. Tis beauteous.
Socratic - Suite 268
Socratic, an indie rock and pop punk band from New Jersey, stopped by the Indaba Music Loft on the Bowery in NYC in November 2012. They performed a live cover of “In My Life” by the Beatles. Their self-titled album was released in 2012 and is available on iTunes and Bandcamp.
Rachel Brown - Suite 268
Rachel Brown, a singer-songwriter born and raised right here in New York City, dropped by the Indaba Music Loft on the Bowery in October 2012 to perform a live cover of Mike Posner’s “Cooler Than Me.” Brown’s debut EP, “Building Castles,” is available now.
Tristan Prettyman - Suite 268
Tristan Prettyman has all it takes to be a great artist: talent, commitment, love, and a story to tell. After releasing two albums and touring extensively, Prettyman took an extended break during which she traveled the globe, had surgery to remove polyps on her vocal cords, got engaged to her long-term boyfriend, dealt with the pain of his ending the engagement, and eventually questioned whether she even wanted to be a musician at all. We’re glad that in the end she did want to! Indada Music had the honor of having her for an exclusive interview and performance for Suite 268 in September 2012.
Lucius, a Brooklyn-originated indie pop band featuring two lead female vocalists, stopped by the Indaba Music Loft on the Bowery in NYC to perform their original song, “Go Home” in April 2012. The band played at Governor’s Ball in June, and is set to tour this summer with Sara Bareilles.
Rachel Yamagata - Suite 268
Rachel Yamagata, an incredible Virginia-born singer-songwriter, stopped by our Suite 268 office on the Bowery in NYC back in April 2012. She performed two of her original songs live – “You Won’t Let Me” and “Dealbreaker” Her 2014 U.S. tour kicks off on October 2nd in Massachusetts, and wraps up in late November in Brooklyn, NY.
A Silent Film - Suite 268
A Silent Film stopped by our office to perform two songs off of their album, Sand & Snow, which was released in June 2012. In 2010, while on a transformative American tour, the band decided to relocate from Oxford to Phoenix, Arizona. The Indie/Alt/Rock band is currently working on a new album, and their most recent album, “Sand & Snow” is available on iTunes. We’re so happy that the guys took a day to come visit us in NYC to perform “Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well” and “Harbour Lights.”
