In the last few weeks, I have done the most challenge assignments in my first year. The booklet for H&M has crossed in three terms and linked between another team work.
The shirt on the right side was the image I direct save from WGSN. The quality is acceptable when in the working size in InDesign. However, when I zoom it into the actual A4 size, you can see the image is crude, low quality.
After a guidance from my teacher, I have downloaded the images from the site and it did produce better quality shown on the left.
I chose to have the same design for each page, the H&M logo and the red line in four sides. But I started with a completed process, copy past on each page and adjust to the right place. Later, I have a review on Linda.com for the use of master page in InDesign. It is incredibly easy and save time, I only need to do the design in the A master page and apply them to any pages that I want them to look like that.
In this Booklet, there are more than 100 images in 24 pages, and most of them are downloaded from the internet. I think of a program I used while I was doing my internship, it called iResizer. You can change the size of the image and also the resolution, which I need to improve the image to at least 300dpi. Adobe PhotoShop can do the same, but I feel iResizer is more simple and easy for me, and I do recommend the program if anyone just needs to do the simple change or improvement for their pictures.

After this Booklet, I have a better understanding about the trend research, the role of a buyer and importantly, it has helped me to improve the skill with InDesign and the communication skill of explaining the problem and the difficulties that I have to get the help.
