Exciting News from National Assembly of Bhutan!

Bhutan’s National Assembly on Friday voted to scrap the law criminalising homosexual relations.

"For someone like me who has been waiting for a change like this for now almost 27 years, it’s great news",a spokesperson for LGBTI Bhutanese group, “This is our first journey towards equality."

The amendment is yet to be ratified by the upper house of Parliament, Scraping this law will ensure that every citizen in Bhutan is given the right to represent their unique identity.
