July 22, 2021 - Indian Robin (Copsychus fulicatus)

Found in South Asia in parts of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, these Old World flycatchers live in shrublands and rocky areas. They mostly eat insects, usually foraging on the ground. Pairs build nests in cavities between rocks, in walls, or in trees, lining them with feathers, hair, and grass. Females incubate clutches of two to four eggs and both parents feed the chicks.
