Day 16 #i_amchallenge2017 "I am a foodie." . I'm really not a foodie. Don't get me wrong. I like to eat. I just don't care much about presentation and constantly trying new things. Like I don't need my ice cream freeze dried or whatever. But I do need it to be lactose free. 😏 . I picked Sunrise for today's picture because the characters in the Ashfall series had tons of problems with finding food after the super volcano in Yellowstone erupted. And when it got really dicey, some people went to extremes to get food. Like eating kale. 😆 Ultimate foodies! Korman's UNGIFTED was an adorable take on misfiticism. I highly recommend it for middle grade readers. . But there a strange current of energy in the aisles as desperate mothers and over-excited children try to check off everything on their school supply lists. It feels a little like The Hunger Games.
