FANGIRL - THE BOOK THAT SAVED MY 2019

 I finished Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, the author of Eleonor & Park, AND I LOVED IT, FROM BEGINNING TO END. I haven't read in while because of lame reasons and I shouldn't have stopped in the first place and I think the best that I could do in the past couple of days was getting to know Cath’s world and her passion about writing and fanfiction and it completely remind of myself because in real life I’m a Cath, and I am too the kind of girl who fantasizes about getting trapped in library. We’re both so much alike, and it made feel good about self because it reminded that there are girls like that in the world, that I shouldn't be ashamed of what I am and the things I like and that I shouldn't listen to anybody says. 

My family has always made fun of me because of the things I do, and Cath showed that I shouldnt be afraid of doing what I love. She kept creating Simon and Bad world’s despite of what anybody said. She found her way even in the most darkest time she was going through: dealing her anxiety and having to face her mom after several years she abandoned her; worrying and taking care of her dad and his depression; having to worry about Wren even though she was a asshole most of the book; and so many other stuff such as college and life itself.

Rainbow Rowell has given the most precious gifts of all. She gave some amazingly and lovable characters and stories whom I can relate to. Cath, Levi, Wren, Simon, Baz, and so many others reminded me that im not alone in this world and I thank them so much. 

I also feel stupid because I got Fangirl YEARS AGO, LITERALLY LIKE 5 OR 6 YEARS AGO, and I didn't finish it until yesterdays and im so glad that it because it did not only remind me to love myself and to keep pursuing the things that I love but also it reminded why I love books and reading so much and that I missed it, I still miss it. 

To end this all verbally vomit that I just threw, I just wanted to thank Rainbow Rowell and SIMON AND BAZ, I MEAN THEYRE FUCKING CANON AND I CANNOT WAIT TO READ CARRY ON

November 12th- Favorite line from Fangirl 🗣 “Just... isn't giving up allowed sometimes? Isn't it okay to say, ‘This really hurts, so I’m going to stop trying’?” “It sets a dangerous precedent.” “For avoiding pain?” “For avoiding life.” There are a lot of beautiful, touching, soft and or funny lines in Fangirl, but this exchange is my favorite. Also, it makes me so happy to see all of the other participants’ photos in this challenged. I feel like we’re a part of something; kindred spirits. 💗I love Fangirl so much, and it’s because I’ve read so many books that are about girls who are brave, cunning, strong and born leaders (which is important 💪),but Fangirl was the first book that I’ve read in which the main character was someone like me. Cath Avery is cautious and sensitive, she makes mistakes and she’s “very active in the fandom”. Also, she’s the first character I’ve ever read that has an anxiety disorder and that made me feel less alone in the world, which is a huge deal for me. I see so many parallels between myself and Cath; I wish I could give her a hug. Here is my little Cath with one of my favorite book moments of all time. I am using this for both #septinbooks17 challenge today (books that give you all the feels) and #buffysbookishchallenge (best declaration of love). This moment where Levi says "I choose you over everyone" and Cath says she loves him is the culmination of such a real and raw and beautiful relationship buildup and it is such a satisfying moment.
