Maybe I just need to open up. But I can’t. 

I most possibly don’t seem to understand what is wrong with father. Talking to a guy on phone is not wrong. Talking or texting guys does not mean that I’m a whore. 

Maybe it simply means I have a better mindset and a clearer distinction of mannerisms, behavior and friendship.

Appa needs to understand that having guy friends, does not mean I like all of them. Or even any of them for the matter. 

And why do Indian parents confiscate their children’s phones once they realize you’re texting a guy.

ISN’T THE PHONE A DEVICE YOU GAVE ME AS A GIFT? Then what makes it appropriate to take back a gift you gave someone? Just because I’m your child? FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, I’M GONNA BE 20 IN TWO MONTHS!!

And why do I not have the right to fall in love or get attracted to men (or women)? EVERY GIRL HAS MULTIPLE CRUSHES AND MULTIPLE PEOPLE SHE WANTS TO TALK TO, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT SHE IS INTERESTED IN THEM. 

And here I am, sitting in my room, unable to contact any of my usual friends, for the f****** sake that my phone has been confisticated by my GODDAMN ARROGANT DOMINANT EGOISTIC SEXISTIC DAD, for talking to and messaging guys.

I don’t understand. I don’t understand at all...
