I never get tired of "then and nows". I've been on set the past 2 days and overall I've been getting really good feedback about my performances but there was one moment when the director called cut and said "yes like that but more manly" and that may be something he would have said to any actor but it really hit me hard. I corrected the take and the show went on but it kept popping back into my mind. So to make myself feel better I made these two comparison photos. I was a boy then I'm a boy now and the ways I've come to grow and show my true self are amazing and I'm proud of them. Maybe I never will be a burley manly man by Hollywood stands but that's okay. I don't need to meet anyone's standards except my own. I'm excited to be acting in roles that feel like they fit me and to play character types I've admired my whole life.
