Gaviana Builds Toward a New Album With a Run of Recent Singles
The Valley Stream singer-songwriter continues to develop a personal R&B and soul sound ahead of a forthcoming album release.
Valley Stream, New York singer-songwriter Gaviana is preparing for the release of a new album after introducing her latest chapter through a series of recent singles. “Let Me Know,” “John Doe,” and “World of Pressure” present an artist working within the traditions of contemporary R&B and soul while placing emotional clarity at the center of her writing.
Gaviana began learning piano and guitar at the age of eight, an early foundation that continues to inform her approach to songwriting. Her music is shaped by personal experiences and a clear interest in vocal expression, with Mariah Carey cited as an important influence alongside Beyoncé and Alicia Keys. Rather than treating those reference points as a fixed template, Gaviana uses them as a starting point for songs that reflect her own perspective.
The recent releases explore different sides of that approach. “Let Me Know” centers on the uncertainty that can emerge within a relationship, while “John Doe” considers emotional distance and the difficulty of recognizing someone who no longer feels familiar. “World of Pressure” turns toward the strain of navigating expectations and personal challenges. Together, the songs offer a useful introduction to the themes surrounding Gaviana’s forthcoming album.
Her work has also developed through live performance. Gaviana has appeared at festivals, fashion shows, and showcases across several states, building experience outside the studio while expanding her audience. Touring and merchandise releases are among her future plans, alongside the arrival of the new record.
As Gaviana moves toward the album, the recent singles suggest a project grounded in direct songwriting, measured vocal performances, and an interest in the emotional details that shape everyday relationships.
Gaviana is managed by A-Train Productions, whose guidance has played an important role in her development as an artist. She also credits her manager, Peterson, with helping her refine her sound and shape the musical direction that defines her current work.
