Comissioned by Indigenus to design a planter, Laurie Wiid van Heerden of Wiid Design created Soma, an over-sized planter made from wood and concrete.

From Indigenus

Designed by Laurie Wiid van Heerden, the Soma juxtaposes lightweight moulded reinforced concrete (GRC) with wood to create a dramatic large scale planter. The combined use of wood and the stone-like appearance of the concrete lends the planter its natural aesthetic, which will age beautifully over time if used outdoors.
