I wish I understood the context and culture of other languages like I do English
Like in America (esp the south) we have that thing we make fun of where it's white mom's making up the most ridiculous names like makaieghley, traxter, lakeylne and every other bullshit name but do those exist in other languages?? Do other cultures have this equivalent or is it just crazy white ppl??
That and how we have names we consider only to belong to a single group of people, like with old people we only see names like Gertude, Maud, Sally, Margaret, Gregory, Gary and all that and how weird it is to see people with really old names WHAT IS THE EQUIVALENT OF THAT WITHIN OTHER CULTURES AND LANGUAGES??? Like, every since I started thinking about it I can't stop and google is useless bc I don't even know what to ask
If non English speakers see this please tell me if these equivalents exist within non English places
